Q: HARDEST LESSON YOU LEARNED IN BUSINESS?

I am learning difficult lessons every day. Nothing prepares you for the challenges of a start-up, and the learning curve is steep. I have a feeling the hardest lessons aren’t behind me, but I am excited that I am growing every day.

Q: WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR WOMEN WITH START UP IDEAS?

So my first bit of advice would be “JUST DO IT.” That said, I think it’s crucial to get support from other women. If you are looking to raise outside capital, look for female investors. Seek out the sisterhood!

Q: FAVOURITE LOCAL HANGOUT?

Good Life Eatery on Sloane Avenue has the most delicious kale salad and matcha. Also, the owners are two fierce young women whom I find super inspiring, especially as they are opening restaurants all over London now.

Q: WHAT WOMAN INSPIRES YOU?

I find Natalie Massenet endlessly inspiring, and I am so lucky that she is an early investor of FLOWERBX. She managed to completely change the way that people consume clothes, as before Net, no one bought clothes on line. We are doing the same thing with flowers.
